Our Mission
From Local Roots to a District of Leaders
District 46 was founded on a simple idea: with the right training, structure, and local leadership, driven people in San Antonio and South Central Texas can build successful Farmers Insurance agencies. Carl Prieto, our District Manager, has been in the Farmers system since 2009 developing the systems, relationships, and team that support qualified candidates as they move from exploration to agency ownership.
Today, District 46 is a network of agency owners serving families and businesses throughout greater San Antonio and nearby communities. Our district team — including experienced trainers, development consultants, and recruiters — works directly with candidates at every stage, from first questions to active growth. We don't promise specific results, but we do commit to supporting those who are serious about building a business here.
Our History
How District 46 Was Built
Carl Prieto didn't start as a District Manager. He started where every agency owner starts — as a licensed agent, learning the business from the inside out.
Joins the Farmers System
Carl begins as a licensed Farmers agent and Sales Development Representative — learning the business from the ground up as a producer.
Moves to the District Side
Transitions to the district office in Norman, OK — shifting from personal production to supporting and developing other agency owners.
Dallas District Office
Joins the Dallas district office, expanding across a major Texas market and deepening expertise in agency development and district leadership.
District 46 — San Antonio
Takes over as District Manager for Farmers District 46 in San Antonio, TX — building the district with a focus on local leadership, community, and long-term owner development.
